2/2005 Meeting Minutes

	
Reading of January minutes.

The membership discussed the new Hobby Expo format. Generally the
membership felt the new Hobby Expo was over-priced and under-attended.

The February WAC launch benefitted from a break in the rain showers a
proved to be a great launch day.

Puget Sound Propulsion announced a logo contest for their new
business. They also announced that they are looking into becoming a
LOC dealer.

After a brief discussion WAC decided to keep club meetings on the
first weekend of the month.

Kent Newman has sent in for the Mansfield waiver(s).

Jim Pommert stated that Monroe fees should be re-instated in march.

Jim Pommert and Bill Clugston encouraged club members attending the
Hobby Expo to sign petition for 60 acres.

Club magazine. Concrete pad completed and magazine on pad. Inspection
from L&I soon.

Jim Pommert put the suggestion that formal launch procedures and
positions need to be in place for Monroe. There was general agreement
from the membership for this need.

Eric Albrecht and his family were granted an honorary WAC membership
for their help with the club magazine.


Fire in the Sky Update

Puget Propulsion will be donationing kits for kids events at Fire in
the Sky.

Andrew MacMillen told the membership the FITS 2004 t-shirts did not do
well, but will try again for this FITS.
